'Moon Maiden Holding Amphora' is an acrylic mixed media painting on a cradled plywood panel.

I never begin a painting with a pre-formed plan and I enjoy letting the subject emerge.

This painting was inspired by Ancient Greek Pottery and the stories that their beautiful illustrations tell.

Plywood panel depth: 2cm (approx)

The painting can be hung straight onto the wall if you so wish, the edges of the panel are painted dark grey.

I have signed the panel in pencil on the back.
